Voter's Attitudes on Public Safety Issues in Shelby County
Memphis, TN – MARCH 2, 2026 – Public Opinion Strategies presents the key findings from a survey of 400 registered voters in Shelby County, Tennessee.
The survey was conducted February 7-11, 2026 and has a margin of error of ±4.90%. Interviews were completed via on-line panel and mobile text-to-web.
Patrick Lanne was the primary researcher and pollster on the project. Luke Jackson was the project director and Sydney Gallagher provided analytical assistance.
Public Opinion Strategies completed three previous surveys for the Crime Commission: July 26-28, 2020 (N=450), September 18-22, 2021 (N=425) and January 9-11, 2024 (N=400)
